Ready

It is Saturday afternoon, and we're home with quick'n'nasty food from the McDonald's drive-in:

Violet: Hey, TLM grabbed a whole Chicken McNugget! She didn't even wait for you to break it into bits!

The Boy: Well, you know what that means, don't you? It's means she's ready for -"

Violet and the boy in unison: "...Happy Meals."

We have mcdonalds every now and then. Nuggets are always good when you can't stop for food but your child is going nuts because he is hungry

As a child I hated Mc D's with a passion because back then everything was cooked in-batch and I have always been a strictly no condiments kind of guy so it was nothing, nuggets weren't invented 'till I was about twelve, or wait two minutes in line for a plain hamburger.
But I don't want to trouble a poor therapist about my beef with Ronald.

angela: I probably do it a little too often, because TLM gets chips at least twice a week if we go out in the mornings.

nigel: when I was a child, McDonald's and KFC were such a new-fangled thing that we only got to go there as part of our end-of-year school trip!

Bet they still wore the paper hats.
We had a field trip there and we all got the paper garrison caps.
